Tayla Westerman

Tayla is a 10 year old 5th grader that is a competitive dancer and pageant queen. She has built her platform “Tayla’s Closet” where she collects donations such as hygiene products, clothes and donates them to many organizations. She got involved with Hope Means Nevada to help spread awareness about mental health among young kids.

 

She has been able to spread awareness about mental health through her platform, through public speaking at her pageants and among her community and friends.

 

Tayla continues to push her platform, and mental health and Hope Means Nevada every where she goes. She wants everyone her age to know that they are not alone. There are people out there that can help. Tayla wants to be a role model, be known as someone you can talk to.
