Caroline Edgeworth is a founding Co-Chair of the Hope Means Nevada Teen Committee. She is a senior at Bishop Gorman High School and is committed to raising awareness for teen mental health issues. Her goal is to de-stigmatize conversations around mental health and eliminate suicides in Nevada. Caroline has appeared in numerous media and television segments, helping to raise awareness for teen mental health.

Since the pandemic began, Caroline noticed a decline in mental health with those around her. None of her friends were immune to the effects of the pandemic. She began to advocate for teen mental health, including testifying at the Nevada Senate and Assembly in support of Senate Bill 249 which affords 3 mental health days to all Nevada students. A suicide hotline is also printed on the back of everyone’s student ID.

Caroline is a top student at Bishop Gorman High School and hopes to attend school in the North East in public policy. She has been the starting setter on the varsity volleyball team since her freshman year. She is a two-time State Champion, setting the Nevada 4A records for most assists and aces in a season. She has been named to the NIAA Nevada All-State Academic Team, MaxPreps Best High School Volleyball player in 2020 and has medaled three times at USAV Junior Nationals.

While she is not playing volleyball, or engaging in community service, Caroline loves to ski, hike, swim, scuba dive, and spend time with friends. She resides in Henderson, NV with her parents, sister, and dogs Toshi and Aster.
